Ella Krauts became the twelfth contestant from the Top 16 to leave MasterChef New Zealand on Sunday 12th May 2013 (7.30 pm – 8.30 pm) on TV ONE.
In tonight’s show, the Top Five contestants had to replicate the ‘Not So Lemon Meringue Pie’, a contemporary twist on the lemon meringue pie created by guest judge Andrew Brown, executive chef of The George Hotel in Christchurch.
Andrew’s five-star dish involved at least six different cooking processes, including lemon crème brûlée, Italian meringue, macadamia crumble and raspberry coulis.
The Top Five had just 90 minutes to attempt it as well as make a cocktail featuring Lindauer sparkling wine.
Aaron Brunet and Kelly Kaihea’s desserts peaked, and they were named the winners of the challenge.
From the start Ella Krauts was prepared for the pressure.
Writing herself encouraging messages which she placed on her work station, she was determined to get through the test remaining calm and composed.

Jennifer Lopez is currently working on her new album, she confirmed in an interview with host Graham Norton on “The Graham Norton Show”. “It’s not done yet,” Lopez replied when Norton asked her about her new album. She continued that the album may come out in November. “I’m still working on it, yeah,” she added.
Last month, RedOne, who produced Lopez’s “Love”, announced that he would executive-produce the diva’s next project. “This is like a dream come true for me,” said RedOne. “It was amazing to be able to work with Jennifer on so many great records over the past two years and now it is such an honor to have her on my label. With Lady Gaga in recovery after having had hip surgery, the news about Nicola Formichetti’s departure from Mugler is raising all kinds of question marks in my head. Isn’t Gaga his muse anymore? Isn’t Formichetti’s style propane-enough to launch and sustain the Mugler label any further?
Until this sudden departure’s mystery will be solved, we only have the delightful speculations to push back and forth, about what lead to the Mugler separation from Nicola Formichetti or viceversa. They said it was mutual, so we put things in whatever perspective we like (‘mutual’ is usually the politically correct explanation for any and all reasons).

Suri Cruise reportedly has signed a 1.5 million pound sterling contract to work with her mother Katie Holmes and her Holmes & Yang partner Jeanne Yang. The 7-year-old girl’s fashion range, named Suri, will be launched in New York this autumn and will include collections of clothes, shoes and other accessories. If it is successful, more stores will be opened across the country.
A source told The Sun that “Suri is only seven but she is incredibly interested in clothes.” The surce added, “She has been through a very difficult year and adapted amazingly to her new life in New York, including the upheaval of starting normal school.”
