Why? Apologies if the headline startled you, we understand the word normal is never usually put in the same sentence as a celebrity unless it’s part of abnormal. Yet, we have to applaud Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, they must be the most down-to-earth couple in Hollywood. Despite both actors being associated with a plethora of hit blockbuster movies the pair don’t seem to have conformed to the pretentious airs and graces of the industry. Last week Jen celebrated her 39th birthday and rather than don her fave Louboutins, smother herself with diamonds and head to an exclusive nightclub, to drink nothing but Cristal, she instead hosted a BBQ. The star, and her hubby Ben, invited 30 pals, including Matt Damon, and dished up macaroni and cheese and corn on the cob as their two daughters played on the lawn! Boring? A little. Refreshing? Absolutely.
