The Japanese are responsible for many great things and a whole lot of weird shit too! But one thing they do very well is pump out great cinema in multiple genres. Sure they are known for their horror, anime and old school battle epics, but what some may not know is they are masters of the gangster genre! Takeshi Kitano himself is at the forefront of this, as both a director and actor, of which he did both on this film, and simply put, it was badass! A must see for Asian cinema and gangster movie fans!
