Kaching, kaching, let those paternal cash registers ring!
Seems Salma Hayek isn’t the first beauty François-Henri Pinault has had eyes (and a heightened libido) for. Before the actress married the French millionaire in 2009, he fathered a child with supermodel Linda Evangelista. And now the former catwalker wants him to pony up some serious child support.
Evangelista once said she doesn’t wake up for less than $10,000 a day, but she’ll be making a lot more than that for what she apparently did during her waking hours about four years ago. Fathers in New York, where the court papers were filed, are required to pay 17 percent of their earnings in child support.
And since Pinault’s 2010 salary from his family’s luxury goods empire (valued at $16-18 billion) was $5.4 million in 2010, that means Evangelista could get her perfectly manicured hands on $920,000 for that year alone.
Not bad for a day’s work. Hour’s work. Fifteen minutes of work.
Whatever.
