Salma Hayek‘s husband Francois-Henri Pinault, the billionaire head of luxury goods purveyor PPR, reportedly impregnated supermodel Linda Evangelista in 2006, the New York Post reports, citing a Manhattan magistrate’s court hearing that Evangelista attended Thursday, reportedly to set up a support agreement. Pinault was not at the hearing, a misunderstanding, according to his lawyer, who says they thought it was to be “a brief, telephone conference, to bring Magistrate Troy up to date on what the status was.”
Evangelista has never revealed the father’s name, and her rep in 2007 denied that PInault was the father.
Hayek and Pinault were on the proverbial break when Evangelista conceived her son, Augustin, who was born in October 2006, the Post reports. But the couple reunited, and in November 2007, Hayek and Pinault welcomed daughter Valentina. They split up briefly in 2008 but got back together and married on Valentine’s Day 2009 in Paris.
