The CW edited the original pilot of their 16th century drama series “Reign” for its scheduled airing this week, trimming a risque masturbation scene involving a handmaiden of Adelaide Kane’s character the Queen of Scotland and the King of France portrayed by Alan van Sprang. The scene will still be seen during the premiere but only through suggestive shots.
The steamy encounter stems from a “bedding ceremony” between a newly-wed couple that is spied on by the teen queen and her ladies-in-waiting after they attend a wedding in France. The Yuba Sutter Master Chorale is presenting its annual Pops Concert this weekend, featuring music “At the Movies.”
With music ranging from the 1900s to the present, performances are at 7 p.m. Saturday and 4 p.m. Sunday at the First Lutheran Church, 850 Cooper Ave., Yuba City.
A silent auction will follow the Sunday concert. Refreshments will be served at both concerts.
Admission is free.
The concert is directed by Kathryn Donovan Campbell.

Saying Birkenstocks are back is like saying Miley Cyrus likes to lick things. But even the exponentially increasing number of Birks weve spotted in Dean & DeLuca over the last few months couldnt have possibly prepared us for the double-strapped sandals sportier, velco-loving, more unfortunate-looking cousin the Teva.
Over the last four weeks these two sandals have been committing sartorial incest all over the Spring 2014 catwalks, and were just going to come out and say it we dont hate the results.
